They were levelled again 8 minutes after the restart and then missed a penalty ten minutes later but were lucky to put the rebound into the net. Three minutes after they got an icing on the cake to leave the final scores at 4-2. With the first round of matches ended, Tottenham's victory over City ensured that there was no game drawn as the premier league makes a return.
