Equatorial Guinea, Togo Withdraw From FIFA U20 Women World Cup Qualifiers

As the qualifying draw for the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup gets closer, two countries in Africa have confirmed their withdrawal from the competition, BSNSports.com.ng can reports.
The 2020 edition of the competition was cancelled outrightly due to the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic which affected all the international competitions.
The Africa qualifiers was scheduled to kick off soon across the continent but Equatorial Guinea and Togo have informed the Africa soccer governing body (CAF) about their withdrawal.
The withdrawal of Equatorial Guinea was confirmed on Tuesday morning through letter made available to the press.
The reason for their withdrawal remained unknown as the time of filing this report.
Their withdrawal means their opponents automatically progress to the next round of the qualifiers.
Costa Rica will host the 2022 edition of the U20 Women's World Cup.
