Essien sets for Azerbaijan move

When everyone seems it's over for the career of former Ghanaian international and Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien, the player is on the verge of resurfacing in Azerbaijan top tier side Sabail FC.
The energetic midfielder terminated his deal with Indonesia side Persib Bandung on March 18 and has since then being a free agent.
The 36-year-old midfield trojan has been undergoing trials with the club with the sole aim of getting a contract with the club.
He started his illustrious career with Bastia in France and moved to another French side Olympic Lyon before joining English premier league side Chelsea where he hits the limelight.
He also played for Ac Milan, Real Madrid and Panathinaikos of Greece.
He made 58 caps and scored 9 goals for Ghana's Black Stars.
