Etebo On Debut Helps Getafe Thrash Omeruo's Leganes
By Oladapo okunubi
Super eagles midfielder, Ogenekharo Etebo on Friday night, made his Laliga debut for Getafe, helping the team to a 3-0 win against hosts Leganes.
Etebo, who came in as a 31minutes substitute for Allan Nyom, adapted to the game plan of coach Pepe Bordalas to shut out Leganes.
Etebo's presence on the pitch did not only bolster the strength of the team, but also exposed fellow national team mate Kenneth Omeruo who played at the defence line of the hosts. Although another Super eagles team mate Chidozie Awaziem was an unused substitute for the homers.
You will recall the former Warri wolves attacking midfielder joined the Spanish side on a 6-month loan deal from English championship side Stoke city this month.
