Etebo Thrilled By His First Getafe Goal

Oghenekaro Etebo has expressed his happiness after netting his first goal for Spanish La Liga side, Getafe in a league encounter against Eibar on Saturday.

The Super Eagles midfielder found the net in the 30th minute off an assist from Angel Rodriguez to help Getafe draw 1-1 with Eibar at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.

The 24-year-old currently on loan from Stoke City in the English SkyBet Championship started the match from but was substituted for Jason in the 69th minute.

He thereafter took to his verified Twitter handle to write: "Happy to get my first goal for Getafe CF, heads up we go again lads," the powerful player tweeted.

Etebo currently on loan from Stoke City in the English SkyBet Championship has played nine times in the Spanish top-flight with just that one goal to his name.

The match against Eibar was also Etebo's 23rd La Liga career appearance, having featured 14 times for Las Palmas during the 2017/18 season but he failed to score.
