Euro 2020: Netherlands edges Ukraine in five goal thriller, Austria get first Euro win

The third batch of the Euro 2020 games were in the offing on Sunday as the Netherlands, English and Austrians were all Victors, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
In a game that seemed to heading for bareness after a scoreless first half, but the second came bubbling with five goals between the Netherlands and the Ukrainians.
PSG new buy Gerginio Wijnaldum and Wout Weghorst scored two for the Dutch side.
However, Andriy Shevchenko’s Ukraine staged a remarkable late fightback courtesy of a wonder strike from captain Andriy Yarmolenko and Roman Yaremchuk’s header from a free-kick.
But Denzel Dumfries first International goal gave the Netherlands the win.
A Raheem Sterling first goal in a major tournament gave the three Lions a victory.
Coach Gareth Southgate said after the game.
"To win the first game relieves some tension but it doesn't mean we've qualified and that's the first objective."
For Austria, it was a three goals to one win against North Macedonia in the first game of the tournament.
It was Austria's first win ever EURO win and they did it in style courtesy of goals from Stefan Lainer, Michael Gregoritsch and Marko Arnautović.
Goran Pandev had equalled scores in the first half for North Macedonia.
