Europa: Aribo On Target In Rangers’ Win At Antwerp; Ndidi, Iheanacho, Olayinka In Action As Leicester Hold Slavia Prague Away

  Joe Aribo was on target as Rangers defeated Royal Antwerp 4-3 away in Thursday’s Europa League round-of-32 fixture, BSNSports.com.ng reports. It was Aribo’s sixth goal in 29 appearances in all competitions for Rangers this season. Aribo scored in the 39th minute to put Rangers 1-0 ahead in the game which saw compatriot Leon Balogun brought on in the 25th minute. Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi were in action as Leicester City held Slavia Prague to a 0-0 draw away, in their Europa League first-leg round-of-32 clash. Also in action was Peter Olayinka who saw 90 minutes of action for Slavia Prague. While Ndidi played the full duration of the game Iheanacho was brought on for Jamie Vardy in the 64th minute. In Austria, Samuel Chukwueze was back in the Villarreal squad as they defeated Salzburg 2-0. Chukwueze, who has been out with injury since January, was an unused substitute for Villarreal. Victor Osimhen was in Napoli’s starting eleven but fired blanks in their 2-0 loss away to Granada. Osimhen has scored just two goals in 14 appearances so far this season for Napoli.
