Europa League: Ighalo Makes Manchester United Squad To Face Copenhagen
By Admin
Former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo may start from the bench in Manchester United’s Europa League quarter-final match against FC Copenhagen on Monday.
The Red Devils breezed past Austrian side LASK 7-1 on aggregate with the Nigerian featuring for a rare 90minutes in the second leg at Old Trafford.
However, Ole Gunnars Solskjaer is expected to select his strongest side against the Danish team as they bid to win the Europa League. Topscorer Anthony Martial is expected to start and Ole speaks highly of the French international.
Ole told reporters: “Anto has made huge strides this season in many aspects of his game. Of course I like him scoring, being in between the posts and scoring simple goals, because we know he can score worldies like he’s done a few times.
“He’s in the gym a lot and working on his fitness and strength with the fitness staff. They’ve done a fantastic job with him. He’s physically at his best level in his career I think. I’m just looking forward to seeing him improving and there’s more to come from Anthony definitely.”
