Nigeria is set to witness a new phase in football scouting programme as European-based football talent scouting coaches and managers will storm Nigeria's capital, Abuja November to carry out a one-week football scouting programme

Fieldoo, a Switzerland based football talent scouting company, will storm Abuja in November in search of talented young Nigerian footballers who are ready to excel in Europe.

Over ten coaches from various reputable clubs in Europe will join FIELDOO in Abuja from November 5-11 for this massive project.

A total of 1000 talented players to be selected across various football academies will converge in Abuja for this challenge where the exceptional ones will be picked.

With venue at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, FIELDOO CHALLENGE NIGERIA is set to revolutionalise football scouting programme in Nigeria with various incentives for football academies/players who will participate in the programme.

With success stories recorded in South Africa in November last year when Fieldoo Challenge South Africa was hosted, Fieldoo Challenge Nigeria will be another scouting challenge the Europeans will be conducting in Africa with Egypt as the next Target.

FIELDOO Challenge headquarters in Switzerland, will conduct same programme in some countries in African and European continents with USA, Australia, Slovenia, among others, on the queue.

Fieldoo Challenge is structured to achieve three goals encapsulated in DPE:

D stands for Discovering top talents, grooming and placing them in European clubs

P stands for Providing players with real and direct opportunity to excel in their career

While E is to Empower players through informing and educating them on how to make it in the industry.

Because football is the most popular sport in Nigeria and Nigeria is the best football country in Africa with talents that are hidden in various localities,
Fieldoo has come to show Nigerian football talents to the World

Recently, FIFA President, Giannini Infantino stated that “I foresee Nigeria as a bedrock for the development of the game in Africa,” Fieldoo does not only undoubtedly share in this belief but is ready to help in no small measures to realise this project.

Fieldoo Challenge Nigeria Team is headed by renowned former national teams coache, John Sam Obuh.

Coach Obuh and his team have put modalities in motion to ensure that FIELDOO CHALLENGE NIGERIA is the first and best of its kind in football scouting programme in the country.

Football academies across the 36 states of the country including the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, are expected to participate in this challenge.

There is also room for private players, (talented players who are not attached to any academy/club) to register and be part of the project.

Registration details will be communicated in subsequent updates.
