European Clubs Besiege Success Makanjuola After Man of The Match Performance

Top clubs from different five European countries were jostling for Flying Eagles playmaker's Success Makanjuola signature after his Man of The Match performance against Mali in the semifinals if the 2019 African Games in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Success' wonderful display in early part of the match won Nigeria a penalty after he skillfully penetrated into Malian's defense before he was brought down inside the 18 yard box.

Flying Eagles captain, Ibrahim Abubakar stepped forward to take the spot kick but could not convert the penalty.

Despite the Malians efforts to silent him by man-marking him as he looked more dangerous than any other player on the pitch, he still caused havoc making dangerous final passes but they were wasteful in front of goal.

According to a report in Morocco's online sports paper, Success who won Man of The Match at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland, repeated same at the ongoing African Games, the performances which attracted many football intermediaries who besieged him jostling for his signature.

The source added that his agreement with Spanish giants, CD Leganes was the reason he turned down offers from Belgium, Italy, Turkey, Germany and Holland.

Success will also be in action on Friday as Nigeria face Burkina Faso in the final of the Men's football event of 2019 African Games in Morocco.
