Everton Celebrate Yakubu Aiyegbeni At 36 By Admin English Premier League side, Everton Football Club has celebrated their former hitman, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Yakubu, a former Super Eagles striker, clocked 36 years on Thursday 22nd November 2018. Everton took to their official Twitter handle to celebrate their iconic striker on his birthday wishing him happy birthday. The Twitter reads; "🎊 | Happy 3️⃣6️⃣th birthday, Yakubu! #EFC 💙" Yak, as his is fondly called, was born on 22nd November 1982 in Benin City, Nigeria. Yak made 82 appearances for Everton and scored 25 goals for the Blue side of the Merseyside. Yakubu scored his 100th goal in English football in a league game at West Bromwich Albion. Yak made 428 career appearances with 172 goal. He have 57 caps for Nigeria with 21 goals. Nigerians remember Yakubu so easily as a result of his hawler against South Korea in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa where he failed to score against an open net.
