Ex-Eagles Star Out Of Champions League Clash

Former Nigeria international, Victor Moses will not be on parade when his side Spartak Moscow face Benfica in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League at the Estádio do Sport Lisboa e Benfica on Tuesday night, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Moses who had a successful spell with Chelsea has been instrumental for Moscow this season, picking up from where he stopped the last.
He was initially sent on loan to Moscow but impressed the team manager and the entire boardroom staff which led to his permanent switch to the club.
Speaking ahead of the match in his post match conference, coach of Spartak coach Rui Vitoria said: "Yes, our players may lack experience at this level. In addition, we did not bring Moses and Promes here, who are injured.
"Melkadze and Maslov are also absent. But we have a plan for tomorrow. I hope it helps us fix the mistakes and turn the situation around. "
Spartak Moscow, having lost the first leg at home have a mountain to climb if they are to progress to the playoff round of the Champions League after losing 2-0 in the first leg of the third qualifying round.
