  Ex-International Taju Disu Appointed As Brand Ambassador By CFF By Editor The Community Football Foundation (CFF) a non-governmental organization established to advocate and create a minimum of 774 Community Ownership Football Clubs has appointed the former Green Eagles defender, Taju Disu as a brand Ambassador. Part of the objectives of CFF according to its national coordinator Austin Popo is to have one team each in every Local Government Council Areas under the Concept of Project 774-ORF Nationwide, in conjunction with other relevant stakeholders in the Communities. The development as stated by CFF coordinator is to ensure that the Project receive and enjoy maximum support amongst all stakeholders within and outside the industry, “we count it a rare privilege and with all due respect to appoint you (Taju Disu) as one of the Brand Ambassadors of CFF”, said in a statement issued and signed by Austin Popo. “Your legacies and contributions to the overall development of the game within and outside the country no doubt set you aside as the right personality to help propagate and promote the gospel of hinged on creating a culture of Football density at the grassroots”, the statement added. Taju Disu who is the Chairman of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) Lagos State and former Abiola Babes Captain started his football career from Ansar’deen Primary School, Lawanson Lagos and St Timothy’s College Yaba. Disu represented Lagos State in the National Sports Festival at Oluyole 79’ and Bendel 81. He was member of the Flying Eagles team that played in FIFA World Cup in Mexico and later Super Eagles, now Supervisory Counselor for Agriculture, Youths, Sport and Social Development in the Surulere Local Government.
