NWANKWO KANU'S HOME BURGLED

News making the rounds has it that the Victoria Island home (Hardly Apartments) of former Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu was allegedly burgled on Monday and his medals, trophies and other valuables carted away.
Report says, this has left the Arsenal legend devastated.
According to report the two time African Footballer of the Year says, "This is the saddest day of my life." The 1996 Olympic gold medal winning skipper is looking pained and helpless according to reliable sources close to him.
It is not clear if the matter has been reported to the police as the former Inter Milan and Ajax ace forward is depressed. Since quitting football, Kanu who is based in London has focused on his foundation among other pet projects thus, helping the needy. He recently sent six kids abroad for heart surgeries under his foundation, Kanu Heart Foundation (KHF) which has been transforming lives.
Kanu recently returned from Dakar, Senegal where he attended the 2018 CAF Awards among other invited legends of the African game. Kanu has been having a running legal battle over his property (the Hardly Apartment) in Lagos Island following the possession taken of the property by AMCON over indebtedness.
Kanu had cried out last year when an exparte motion was filed against him empowering AMCON to seize the property.
