Pioneer coach and co-founder of defunct Sharks Football Club of Portharcourt ex-International, Ebiyon Dediare is lying critically ill, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

His ailment, according to his family, is attributed to complications arising from stroke he suffered on the 15th of September 2020.
His wife, Mrs. Titilayo Ebiyon Dediare, said coach Ebiyon is currently admitted at the Prestige Hospital Portharcourt.

It would be recalled that Ebiyon Dediare and late Chief Wilson Eselsmo of blessed memory, proprietor of Eselemo Diamonds Football Club of Warri sold the idea to the then Rivers state Governor, His Excellency Alfred Diete Spiff to transmute Eselemo Diamonds Football Club to Sharks football of Portharcourt.

Ex-Internationals like Jossy Dombraye, Mike Okotie, late Morton Owolo, Raymond kwakopone and others were pioneer players of Sharks of Portharcourt. Ebiyon Dediare was also coach of Eagle cement for a long time and took the club to greater heights.
