Ex-Super Eagles Defender Down With Stroke

Pioneer coach and co-founder of defunct Sharks Football Club of Portharcourt ex-International, Ebiyon Dediare is lying critically ill, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
His ailment, according to his family, is attributed to complications arising from stroke he suffered on the 15th of September 2020.
His wife, Mrs. Titilayo Ebiyon Dediare, said coach Ebiyon is currently admitted at the Prestige Hospital Portharcourt.
It would be recalled that Ebiyon Dediare and late Chief Wilson Eselsmo of blessed memory, proprietor of Eselemo Diamonds Football Club of Warri sold the idea to the then Rivers state Governor, His Excellency Alfred Diete Spiff to transmute Eselemo Diamonds Football Club to Sharks football of Portharcourt.
Ex-Internationals like Jossy Dombraye, Mike Okotie, late Morton Owolo, Raymond kwakopone and others were pioneer players of Sharks of Portharcourt. Ebiyon Dediare was also coach of Eagle cement for a long time and took the club to greater heights. It is in the light of the above the National Association of Nigeria Footballers (NANF) is calling on the Dynamic, Good hearted and compassionate Governor of Rivers State to once again demonstrate why he is always the man of the People and not let former center half of the Green Eagles in the late 1960s die.
