Ezenwa Happy To Be Back With Super Eagles

Heartland of Owerri goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa is happy after to be listed among goalkeepers invited to Super Eagles ahead of the upcoming international friendly match, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr last week rolled out the list of 31 players to prosecute the match against Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Ezenwa was one of the 4 goalkeepers invited.
Ezenwa who was part of the team to the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt has been out of the team due to injury and poor form.
While speaking to Lagos based radio station Brila FM, Ezenwa expressed his excitement over his return to the Super Eagles fold.
“I’m so happy, it’s not easy when a man face challenges and comes back.
"It only shows that you’re a real man. In Football you’re bound to face some challenging times and how you handle it is what makes you a professional."
"I never allow it to weigh me down, so the most important thing is that I’m back," he said.
Out of the 31 invited players 8 will be dropped while the rest will prosecute the match slated for Austria.
