Ezinne Kalu Out For Six Months, To Miss Nigeria World Cup Qualifiers Games

Nigeria Women Basketball Star Player Ezinne Kalu will missed Nigeria World Cup Qualifiers games slated for February 2022. The 26 years old will be out for 6 months as a result of a torn PCL/MCL in a game on October 30th. The France-based point guard is expected to will D’Tigress campaign in February’s qualifying tournament as Nigeria bid to reach next year’s Women’s Basketball World Cup in Australia The Landerneau BB player was named the 2019 Women’s Afrobasket MVP (Most Valuable Player). As one of Nigeria’s most influential player, Ezinne Kalu has won three consecutive Africa titles with the Nigeria Women Basketball team (2017, 2019 and 2021) and was among the D’Tigress squad that create history in 2018 FIBA Women Basketball World Cup.
