FA Boss Commends KWHA for Warm Rufai Reception

Chairman of the Kwara state football association, Malam Idris Abdullahi Musa has commended the Kwara state House of assembly for the hospitality and warm reception given to former Nigeria international, Peter Rufai during his visit.

Malam Idris alongside Peter Rufai and his group were at the state House of assembly over the weekend to brief the leadership of the house on the proposed football project by Peter Rufai tagged "Dodomayana Soccerthon Project".

Speaker of the house, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, un his reaction, revealed the lawmakers openess to scientifically harness and develop local football talents and also support their career as professional footballers through partnering with individuals and corporate bodies to revive the state sports sector.

Hon. Danladi praised Rufai's determination to give back to the society and expressed satisfaction towards his choice of Kwara for the football tournament while adding that Football is a unifying factor which curb youth restiveness in the society.

Peter Rufai, on his part appreciated Kwarans for the warm reception given to him and described Rt. Hon. Danladi as the youngest and most Dynamic law maker whose interest is to move Kwara forward through developmental Projects.

The Former Green Eagles safehand appreciated the leadership of the assembly and assured the state of the enormous benefits they stand to gain from the football project.
