FA Cup: Balogun shines in Brighton win over West Bromwich Albion

Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun was the star man on Wednesday FA Cup replay match between his club Brighton Hove Albion and West Bromwich Albion.

Leon Balogun helped Brighton Hove Albion won 3-1 after regulation time to qualify for the fifth round.

Earlier match at the Amex stadium ended in a stalemate which prompted a replay at the Hawthorns.

Kyle Bartley scored the opening goal in the 77th minutes of the fiercely played game but Florin Andone brought Brighton back on a level term in the 82nd minutes.

Balogun stood tall among the Brighton defenders as singlehandedly marked out dangerous Jay Rodriguez.

Substitute Glen Murray netted brace in the 104th and 117th minutes to progress to the next round of the competition.
