It was mixed feelings for Nigeria's Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi as he was sent off in West Bromwich Albion 0-1 win over hosts West Ham United, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ajayi who moved to the Hawthorns last summer has been one of the outstanding player for West Brom this season with his amazing display.

Connor Townsend netted the lone and winning goal in the 9th minute before Ajayi was booked for a foul play in the 44th minute.

The incessant pressure of West Ham United led to the Nigeria youngster been sent off in the 72nd minute for a second bookable offence.

It means that Ajayi will not be available for West Brom when action resumes in the Championship.
