Speaking with www.bsnsports.com.ng from France, Abdullahi said, “we just have to put the best of ability and know that we don’t have to draw or lose the game against China because we believe we can go all the way, even past the group stage.” He continued, “we believe in our abilities and strength as a team to do well. The girls know the importance of the World Cup so they cannot afford to lose the next match.” The former Warri Wolves Coach thanked the Nigeria Football Federation for their support at the ongoing World Youth Championship, saying, “the only way to reciprocate the tax payers money is by churning out good performance at the mundial. We are focused as a team and hopeful that we will qualify from the group.”
