A major shake-up has been carried out in the coaching crew of Nigeria Super Falcons as the team's assistant coach Wemimo Mathew was dropped to the Under 20 women's National team following Nigeria's recent 8-nil bashing by France.
Also dropped to the falconets is the Super Falcons team secretary Dupe Shabu who was replaced by her counterpart Mary O. from the Under 20 team.
Meanwhile our very strong source in the glass house who confirmed the story said the change was a clear case of "MAN PASS MAN"
"Oga, they call it in-house reorganisation but that is a total lie. This is politics and it is very unfortunate. We must learn to live with it, he concluded"
In another development, the Nigeria National under 20 team, the falconets, are expected to resume camping on Thursday May 10, in Abuja ahead of the fast approaching FIFA under 20 women's world cup taking place between August 5 and 24, in France.
Team coach, Christopher Danjuma, has since been paid his full entitlements of over 4m Naira by the Nigeria football federation while his three assistants are yet to get a dime after qualifying Nigeria for the world cup two months ago.
Also, all the players and backroom staff who secured the world cup ticket are yet to be paid allowances and bonuses but will have to report to camp same day, as preparation begins in earnest.
Some of the players who spoke with NSM media, are not happy with the development but have resolved to stay quiet for the sake of their fledgling football careers.
