Falcons Coach Optimistic of AWCON Final

THOMAS DERNNEBY CONFIDENT OF FAVOURABLE RESULT AGAINST CAMEROON TOMORROW By Favour Itua Super Falcons coach, Thomas Dernneby says he's not under pressure to deliver against Cameroon in tomorrow's (Tuesday) Semifinal of the ongoing African Women Nations Cup in Ghana, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Dennerby made this known at the pre-match press conference room of the Accra Sports Stadium, Ghana after Falcons training ahead of the Semifinal clash. Coach Dernneby spoke about his experience in female football which has aid him to relaxed about the game but he's focused in getting the final ticket. "It's a good thing to be an old man, when I was head coach of Sweden for eight years, I always had this pressure, I'm used to it, I know how to handle my feelings and that's one of the best thing with experience but I think if you ask me I will say i have a relaxed attitude towards the game tomorrow that's not saying we are not focused, we doing our best, we trying to do it same way we have done in the last two games. I want the players to feel calm and confident ahead of tomorrow's game." Dennerby, who's having a great time so far, acknowledged the qualities in the Cameroon side but said his team stand a good chance of beating them as long as they put their work together. "We are going to have a tough game tomorrow, it's a new game, we know about it. What's happened earlier in the tournament we don't care so much about that because we can't change anything that happened before. The only thing we can do is to prepare for the next game. We know we are going to play against a very good team but with what we know about Cameroon. "I think we have a very good chance to beat them, but I also said nothing comes out from itself, you have to do your home work, you have to play the best passes, you have to use your scoring chances, you have to go down with your heart because if you don't do that you don't win any game no matter who you playing. I think the players are really prepared, they are strong mentally and I believe we will have a good game tomorrow. When asked of injury worries in the team, as Ngozi Ebere was withdrawn during the second half of the match between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea coach Dennerby said she's fit as everyone is available for tomorrow's game. Desire Oparanozie will be a player to watch out for as the Guingamp Striker has scored in the last two Nations Cup against Cameroon.
