Falcons Coach Reacts To 2018 AWCON Draw [caption id="attachment_5837" align="alignnone" width="300"] Thomas Dennerby, Falcons Coach[/caption] By Admin Super Falcons coach Thomas Dennerby has expressed confidence that his side would emerge winners of Group B in the 2018 AWCON. Nigeria are in the group alongside South Africa, Zambia, and Kenya following the draw on Monday for the competition billed for November 18. Speaking on the sidelines of the draw, Dennerby said the team is in “a good group and really have a good chance to win it even though we expect a tough game against South Africa. “We have a good idea of South Africa, but not much about Zambia and Kenya. “We will try to analyse these teams and we won’t underrate them.” Nigeria has started their training camp for the competition with 28 local-based players who would be joined soon by their foreign-based teammates. The defending champions will on November 4 name the final team of 21 players for the 2018 AWCON on November 4. The Super Falcons have won the African Women Nations Cup title eight times.
