Favour Ofili had qualified for the women's 200m final after clocking a smooth 22.59s (-0.5) to finish second in her heat which was won by Anavia Battle in 22.50s, the fastest qualifying time. It will be recalled that the young athlete clocked a time of 22.30s last month which was number four on the U-20 world list. She will be aiming to improve on these feats as she progresses in her school.
