FCT Beach Soccer: Mouktar Mohammed Pays Team Surprise Visit

As part of preparations for the upcoming Federal Capital Territory Beach Soccer tournament, FCT Football Association Chairman, Alh. Adam Mouktar Mohammed paid a visit to the venue of the tournament at Jabi.

The players who have been working hard under the supervision of coaches like Abdullahi Isa and host of others, expressed satisfaction with the level of support they have received from the Chairman of the FCT FA while vowing to put up a good performance during the competition.

Abdullahi Isa, a former captain of the Super Sand Eagles who is currently an assistant coach of the team described how beach soccer transformed his life while charging the players not to relent in their efforts to be successful in their chosen careers.

"The places beach soccer has taken me, regular football did not take me there. My first time of going to Europe and America was through beach soccer. Regular Football only took me round Africa. I therefore urge you to be disciplined and hardworking." Isa said.

Unable to hide his love for the game, Mr Adam Mouktar Mohammed took to the pitch to test his beach football abilities while charging the players to perform well during the competition.

"I will urge you to work hard and you will enjoy the fruits of your labour. Every journey starts with a step, if you are consistent, this could be an opportunity to play for the National team. " FCT FA chairman Adam Mouktar Mohammed stated.

The FCT beach soccer tournament kick starts on 14th of February, with the grand finale to be held on 16th of the same month.
