FCT FA Charges Setraco FC To Pick NLO Div 2 Ticket

Federal Capital Territory Football Association, FCT FA, has commended the performance of Setraco FC of Abuja in their ongoing Nigerian Nationwide League Division 3 Playoff in Lafia, Nasarawa state.

FCT FA Chairman, Alhaji Mukhtar Mohammed expressed confident that the Abuja based team will pick the sole ticket for the Nigeria Nationwide League Division 2.

Moukhtar stated that FCT FA is solidly behind the club and urged them to be a good ambassadors of the Nation's capital.
He also encouraged them to go on and win their last group match against Water Cooperation to pick the sole ticket for NLO Division 2.

"Setraco FC are good team, i knew before they left for the playoff that they will not disappoint the FCT residents. The results they have garnered by winning their first two matches showed that they are good enough to pick the promotional ticket. The FCT FA is behind them and will not stop to give necessary support to the club and every other Abuja based club."

The 2017 FCT FA League champions have won their first two group matches to move to the top of the table.

The Abuja based team thrashed Sharp Shooters FC of Benue 4-0 and also showed superiority over Insha Allah FC of Niger State by thumping them 4-0.

Setraco will on Friday play their last group match against Water Cooperation.

A win in their last group match means, that the Abuja football club will not only maintain their 100 percent performance but also maintain toping the group table which qualify them to play another group winners.

The two group winners will engage in one match playoff where the winners between them gain automatic promotion to the NLO Division 2.

We have 8 centres for the NLO Division Three Zonal League; Ibadan and Ilaro for South West, Okigwe and Calabar for East and South, Katsina, Bauchi and Jigawa for North while Nasarawa is for North Central.
