FCT FA Commiserates With Road Safety FC Over Player's Death

The nation's capital football governing body, FCT FA has commiserated with Road Safety Football over the death of their player, Nura Suleiman.

The striker died on Tuesday evening when he slumped while engaging fitness training inside Government Secondary School, GSS, Suleja.

In a statement issued by the Association Secretary-General, Haruna Ilerika on Tuesday, the Chairman, Mouktar Mohammed who received with rude shock the news of the striker's death condoled with Road Safety and family he left behind.

“It was with profound shock and sadness that I learnt of the tragic passing of Nura Suleiman. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace. Mouktar said.

“We have lost an outstanding player with bright future and all football family will feel his loss.

“On behalf of the Board of the FCT FA, I would like to offer our sincere condolences to Road Safety FC and his family and the entire people of our great country, Nigeria,’’ he concluded.
