FCT FA Condoles With FRSC Over Sunday Joseph Death

Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCT FA) has expressed sadness over the death of Head of Sports for the Federal Road Safety Safety Corp (FRSC), DCC Sunday Joseph who died on Tuesday.

Sunday died on Tuesday morning after weeks of illness.

Late Sunday Joseph was a versatile sports administrator. He was a member of the Niger Handball team during his active playing days in the 80's and 90's.

Bobo Gana as he is fondly called in sports circle was also a footballer who later became referee and coach during his active days in the game.

He was appointed head of sports for the FRSC last year (2018) a position he held until his death. Sunday Joseph was a prominent member of the Mega Veterans Handball Club.

The announcement of DCC Sunday Joseph’s death has sent shock waves into the FCT Football family.

Chairman of the FCT FA, Alhaji Mukhtar Abah Mohammed who sympathised with his family described the day he died a black Tuesday following the announcement of Joseph’s death. He prayed that God gives his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
