FCT FA Congratulates Setraco FC On Promotion

FCT FA under the leadership of its chairman, Alhaji Muhammed Mukhtar has congratulated Setraco FC on their promotion to the Nigeria Nationwide League Division 2, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Alhaji Mukhtar says he has never doubted the ability of the team and confident that they are good enough to move up to the NLO Division One.

BSN Sports reports that Setraco FC of Abuja on Saturday picked one of the promotion ticket from Nigeria Nationwide League (NLO) Division 3 to Division 2 after defeating Greater Tomorrow 3-0 at the Lafia Center in Nasarawa state.

Having won three group matches, Setraco faced another group winners, Greater Tomorrow in a winner takes all game which they won 3-0 to pick the NLO Division 2 ticket.

In the 40th minute, Hassan Ayuka curls home a delightful strike from the edge of the box to give the Abuja based club a deserved lead.

Two minutes later, following good persistence from Promise Gata as he scrambles home from close range to double lead for Setraco to send the 2,000 spectators into jubilating.

In the 76th minute, Setraco puts the game beyond Greater Tomorrow with the third goal. Stanley Nwanosike dribbled past his makers, then set up Shalom Olayide and the striker put the ball beyond the reach of Greater Tomorrow goalkeeper to increase the tally.
