FCT FA Constitutes 14 Committees For Football Development

Determined to pursue his drive in ensuring that football development in the Federal Capital Territory is given a massive boost, the Chairman, FCT Football, Association, Adam Mohammed Muktar has set up 14 different committees to chart the way forward.

The 14 committees are: Technical and Development, Finance, Media and Public Relations, Security, Women Football, Area Councils Football Development, Youth Development, Referees and Marketing and sponsorship.

Others are Organising Committee for FCT FA Competitions, Strategies Studies, Protocol and Ceremonial, Player Status and Ethics and Fair play committees.

According to a release by the FCT FA Secretary, Haruna Ilerika, former Flying Eagles coach, Abimbola Samuel is the head of Technical and Development Committee while Bwari Area Council Chairman, John Gabaya heads Finance Committee.

The Media and Public Relations Committee is headed by Andrew Abah whereas Security is overseeing by Daniel Kwaji.

Women Football Committee is headed by the only female board member in the FA, coach Ngozi Eze. Salihu Kolo is in charge of Area Council Football Development Committee. While Wakali John oversees Youth and Development, the Referees Committee has Hasimu Adamu as chairman.

Chairman of Marketing and Sponsorship Committee is Nuel Anosike; Organsing Committee for FCT FA Competitions Committee is chaired by Musa Garba just as Godwin Bamigboye is the chairman of Strategies Studies Committee.

The Chairman of Protocol Committee is Pascal Dogo. Players Status Committee is chaired by Patrick Bassy while Ethics and Fair play Committee is headed Salihu Kolo.

The following committees, Technical and Development, Women Football, Marketing and Sponsorship, have 6 members each.

Media and Public Relations, Youth Development and Protocol and Ceremonial Committees have 7 members respectively.

Committees with 5 members include Security, Referees and Strategies Studies. Whereas Organising Committee for FCT FA Competitions has 8 members, Finance Committee has 3 members. Players Status and Ethics and Fair play Committee have 4 membership each.

The inauguration of the committees will take place in two weeks’ time.
