FCT FA Felicitates With Muslims As Ramadan Fast Starts Today

… Urges Muslims To Pray Fervently  Against Coronavirus

The Federal Capital Territory Football Association, FCTFA has sent greetings to Nigerians in general and Muslims in particular as they commence the month-long Ramadan fast which commences on Friday.

In a statement signed by the Secretary of the Football Association, Haruna Ilerika, the Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Muktar enjoined Nigerians to form good relationship with one another.

Muktar stated that the greetings followed the sighting of the Holy Month of Ramadan in the Holy Land of Saudi Arabia.

The FCT FA Chairman, therefore, urged Muslims to use the period to  pray fervently to halt the spread of the deadly disease; Coronavirus, as governments and other stakeholders are working to see the end of the pandemic.

He prayed for Allah's mercy, peace, progress, and the wellbeing of the country.

"It is our prayer that Allah accepts the earnest prayers and sacrifices of the Muslim Ummah during this Holy Month", the statement reads.
