FG vs 5 NFF Chieftains Appeal Case Adjourned To February 3 By Our Reporter An appeal in the case brought forward by the Federal Republic of Nigeria against NFF President Amaju Pinnick and four other top officials has now been adjourned to February 3, 2022, just as the football federation officials again failed to show up. The adjournment was caused by the crowded schedule of Justice Inyang Ekwo of the Federal High Court Abuja. Interested parties Harrison Jalla and Oyetunde Aderibigbe were represented by Ibritam & Associates. However, www.insideglasshouse.com gathered that Pinnick and the other NFF officials, namely Seyi Akinwunmi, Shehu Dikko, Ahmed Yusuf ‘Fresh’ and Mohammed Sanusi were not represented even though they have been officially served. The interested parties have said they are appealing a “dubious” ruling by Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu on November 5, 2019, that purportedly discharged and acquitted Pinnick and the four other officials. The applicants subsequently dragged Justice Ojukwu to the National Judicial Council (NJC) after maintaining the ruling in favour of the officials in suit No FHC/ANJ93/2019 was “dubious”. Legal experts have since argued that the ruling is not known to law and not in the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
