FIAN Chairman, Ayodele Thomas Explains Roles And Importance of Football Intermediary

Football Intermediary Association of Nigeria (FIAN) has finally come with the lasting solution that will bring an end to challenges faced by players before, during and after contract deals.
Chairman, Football Intermediary Association of Nigeria (FIAN), Mr Ayodele Thomas has stated that the Association has come as a platform to help and guard players throughout their career, BSNSports.com.ng can report.
According to him, football intermediary represent players interest when it comes to club contract, help players to conduct contract negotiation, and also act as guardian for these players throughout their career.
In an interview monitored by www.bsnsports.com.ng the then FIFA License Football Intermediary said: "As NFF intermediary we have three basic functions which are; we are there to represent players when it comes to club contract, the second is help players conduct contract negotiation, and lastly act as guardian for players because most them are young and lack life and career experience, we guard them not only to help them sign contract but to guide them throughout their career.
He also threw more light on the mandate of the Football Intermediary Association of Nigeria (FIAN): "FIAN's mandate is to represent collective interest of all the intermediaries duly registered by the NFF and also to ensure that members bring transparency and integrity into the way they conduct their businesses. So that the reputation we have built over the years will not be a thing of the past." He concluded.
