FIBA AFRICA: AfroBasket Get Dates, Venues

By Sampson Adedeji The dates and venue of the second leg of the 2021 Afrobasketball qualifier has been announced by FIBA Africa, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The first leg of the competition was held in Kigali, Rwanda in November 2019 and Nigeria's D'Tiger was one of the outstanding team of the competition. The Nigeria side under new coach Mike Brown recorded 3 emphatic win in 3 matches against South Sudan, Mali and host Rwanda. According to the statement by FIBA Monastir, Tunisia and Yaounde, Cameroon will host the matches slated for February 17th to 21st, 2021. Nigeria remained in group D alongside South Sudan, Mali and Rwanda with the winner taking part in the competition proper slated for Kigali, Rwanda later in the year.
