D'Tigress ranked 16th in the world

The latest women ranking in Basketball released by FIBA on Friday indicated the Nigeria's D'Tigress is now 16th in the World, BSNSports.com.ng understands.

The Nigeria senior women Basketball team emerged champions of Women AfroBasketball competition in Dakar, Senegal beating host in the final.

D'Tigress garnered 329.2 points to placed 16th and 1st in Africa and apart from Nigeria, no Africa team make the top 20.

United States remained number one in the world followed by Australia, Spain, Canada and France in that order.
