FIBA U16: Junior Tiger finish third, Chinyelu, Isa make top 5

Nigeria's Junior Tiger finished third in the just concluded FIBA U16 competition in Cape Verde, BSNSports.com.ng can report.

The team which lost out to Mali on Saturday night bounced back and defeated Guinea in third place match on Sunday.

The Nigeria team edged Guinea by a point 54-53 in a keenly contested encounter.

Despite crashing out of World cup qualification two of the players in the team Reuben Chinyelu and Farouq Isa made the competition top 5 players.

Most of the players in the team are drawn from the Milo Basketball secondary school competition.
