FIBA U16: Nigeria through to quarter final

Nigeria's Junior Tiger has qualified for the quarterfinals of the ongoing FIBA U16 competition in Cape Verde.

The Nigeria Junior side on Wednesday defeated their Algerian counterparts 75-64 in their third group match.

The team finished second behind Egypt in group A after recording 2 victory in 3 matches.

The team consists of players from the Nestle Milo secondary school competition with Reuben Chinyelu being the star player of the team.
