FIBA Women: D'Tigress to know foe July 29

Nigeria's senior women basketball team D'Tigress will know their opponents for the forthcoming 2019 FIBA AfroBasketball competition on July 29th, 2019, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The current African champions and other 11 countries will be drawn into groups for the tournament.

Otis Hughley’s girls set a new African record as the only team to have won three games at the 2018 FIBA Women’s World Cup and also attaining a quarter-final feat.

The competition is slated for 9th to 18th August in Dakar, Senegal.

The participating countries are Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal, Angola, DR Congo, Mali Mozambique, CIV, Cape Verde, Egypt, Kenya and Tunisia
