FIBA World Cup: D'Tigers depart for China for 4-invitational tournament

Despite paucity of fund, Nigeria's D'Tigers are scheduled to depart for China on Tuesday night for the 4- team invitational tournament scheduled to start on Thursday.

The national men's senior Basketball team returned to Nigeria last week after almost a month camping exercise in USA where they played 4 friendly matches.

Less than 2 weeks to the start of the world cup, the Nigeria Basketball Federation cried out few days ago about non availability of fund to prosecute the competition.

The team will take part in the 4 team tournament and the team coach Alex Nwora will announce the finalist of 12 players that will represent the country in the China for the World cup.
