Classification Games: D'Tigers down Cote d'Ivoire

After crashing out of the medal zone of the ongoing FIBA men's World Cup in China, Nigeria's D'Tigers have started their classifications games on a winning note.

BSN reports that Nigeria must navigate around Ivory Coast and China to secure Tokyo 2020 Olympic games qualification ticket.

D'Tigers on Friday defeated Cote d'Ivoire 83-66, and continue dominance over the West Africa neighbour.

D'Tigers started on a strong note dominating the game going into the half time with 63-46 lead.

But Cote d'Ivoire rallied back in the third quarter and closed the gap with D'Tigers until the last quarter when the Nigerians was able to pull through.
