  Fieldoo Nigeria Challenge Trial Kicks Off In Abuja By Niyi Busari After months of deliberations and concerted discussions, the trials of the Fieldoo Nigeria Challenge on Wednesday commenced in Abuja. No fewer than 80 grassroots players took part in the trial ahead of the main scouting program slated for April, 2021. The program which is designed to discover talented grassroots players in Nigeria is led by the former Flying Eagles coach, John Obuh who was the head coach of Nigeria’s 2009 silver-winning U-17 team the golden Eaglets. He said that the trials was arrived at to help registered academies prepared for the main Challenge coming up later this year. Five matches were played and some players who stood out were identified and penciled down for selection.
