Nigeria’s squad is rated 19th most expensive squad ahead of Russia 2018
Super Eagles are the 19th most expensive team participating in the 2018 edition of the tournament
They rank behind Senegal and Egypt, who are the first two most expensive African countries going into the FIFA World Cup in Russia

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will kick off their campaign at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia against Croatia at the Kaliningrad Stadium on Saturday, June 16.
The three time African champions are in Group D alongside Argentina, Croatia, and Iceland in this summer’s event kicking off on June 14.
However, the 2013 AFCON kings are rated 19th most expensive squad in the competition as they are valued at £115.1 million ($154 million).

The team boasts of a few players in the English Premier League while others are spread across Europe and then China.
Players like Alex Iwobi (Arsenal), Victor Moses (Chelsea), Leicester City trio of Ahmed Musa, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho are some of the top players the team will present at the mundial in Russia.
Leon Balogun recently joined Brighton & Hove Albion from his former German League side Mainz 05 to complete the list of Nigerian stars in the EPL.
John Obi Mikel and Odion Ighalo ply their trade for their various clubs in the Chinese Super League, while William Troost-Ekong recently moved to Turkey – where he plays for Bursaspor.
Meanwhile, according to Business Insider citing data from Transfermarkt calculated the worth of players for the one-month competition around £9 billion ($12 billion).
