Fifa advocates, Pinnick, allies head to Jos court By Admin Ahead of his appearance at the court in Jos on Monday, July 30, Amaju Pinnick group is once again boasting of vacating the order that empowered Ambassador Chris Giwa to return as NFF President. Interestingly, this was also how Pinnick himself boasted he would win at the Supreme Court and then call Giwa to congratulate him before the April 27 ruling by the apex court which he lost.  It is also hypocritical to note that the same Pinnick and his group have argued that football matters do not go to court for the umpteenth time is sneaking to regular court to seek for help to reinstate him as NFF President.  An arrow-head of his group, Adewale Ajayi who has been championing his views has confidently boasted on social media that the order would be vacated on Monday and the judge will rule that football matters should not be taken to regular courts again, after their victory. Since the judgment has already been written for them to read and boast about in the media, Nigerians will wait and see how this mockery of the judiciary will come to pass, even as people fear that anything is possible. For the sake of argument and the question in the heart of most Nigerians is, what orders are they seeking to vacate ? The enforcement orders or the orders of the Federal High Court, Jos? Can the Giwa group appeal in the case of unfavorable decision for the status quo to remain? If Pinnick is seeking to vacate the orders, it presupposes that Giwa is in charge, while he is parading himself.
