FIFA approves VAR for Women World Cup By Sampson Adedeji After adjudging Video Referee Assistant to be a success, FIFA has agreed to use the technology at this FIFA Women World Cup slated for France. Various leagues across Europe including Uefa club competitions used the technology in some of their local tournaments and some of the Uefa organised matches. Despite some flaws noticed with the system, the World football governing body still believed its 90% accurate. Nigeria's Super Falcon is among the teams that will take part in the summer competition. They have been grouped in group A alongside host France, Korea and Norway.
