  Ahmad Officially Challenges FIFA Ban By Sampson Adedeji Few days after his suspension, suspended President of Confederation of African Football Association (CAF ) Ahmad Ahmad has officially released a statements challenging his suspension, BSNSports.com.ng reports. The world soccer governing body (FIFA) on Monday announced the five year banned of Ahmad as the president of the Confederation of Africa Football owing to gross misconduct. After meeting up with his lawyer, Ahmad on Wednesday afternoon officially released a statements to challenge his ban. "I challenge the sanction that was imposed. Beyond my case, it's the self determination in football Africa that was attacked" , he wrote. His statement shows that is taking the matter to the Court For Arbitration for Sports (CAS) and hope to get a fair judgement.
