  FIFA Council Election: Minister of Youth and Sports Declares Nigeria Support For Pinnick By Sampson Adedeji Ahead of the FIFA Council election, Minister of Youth and Sports Development,  Sunday Dare has declared Nigeria support for the President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Melvin Pinnick, who is eyeing FIFA Council seat, BSNSports.com.ng reports. Nigeria football supremo few months back decided to run for the post of FIFA Council  after he dumped the ambition for CAF presidency. Sunday Dare through his social media handle on Wednesday declared that Nigeria will show enormous support for Pinnick in his quest to become FIFA Council member. https://twitter.com/SundayDareSD/status/1359573839731171328?s=19 "A seat at the FIFA Council for Nigeria will be much welcomed. He tweeted The election is scheduled for 12th March 2021.
