FIFA Ranking : Super Falcons Move One Step Up

Despite not being active in the last few month, Nigeria's Super Falcons has moved one step up in the latest FIFA women ranking released on Friday.

The Nigeria women Senior team which is presently the Africa champion was ranked 39th in the World in the December 2019 ranking, BSN Reports.

The latest ranking released on the FIFA website indicated that Nigeria moved up to 38th position and remained 1st in Africa.

Tokyo-bound Zambia are among several teams to have earned a FIFA Women's World Ranking boost following a busy start to the year.

A combination of Women’s Olympic Football Tournament qualifiers and several friendly tournaments have served to cause significant movement across the continents. And while the Zambians (100th, up 6) are this edition’s biggest climbers thanks to their shock preliminary triumph over Cameroon.

The next FIFA/Coca-Cola Women’s World Ranking will be published on 26 June 2020.
