FIFA Ranking: Super Eagles drop one spot

Despite securing a 2-2 draw against Ukraine at Dnipro Arena in an international friendly, Nigeria's Super Eagles still dropped one spot in latest FIFA ranking released on Thursday morning, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
BSN reports that the three-time Africa champions who finished third at the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt was ranked 33rd in the August ranking.
The latest ranking shows that Nigeria dropped one place to 34th position and 3rd in Africa with 1481 points against 1482 it amassed in August.
2019 Africa cup of nations 1st runner up Teranga Lions of Senegal remained Africa top ranked team and 20th in the World with 1,550 points.
Carthage Eagles of Tunisia was ranked 29th in the World and second in Africa with 1496 points.
While 2019 African Cup of Nations champions Algeria was placed 38th in the World and 4th in Africa after garnering 1463 points .
