FIFA Rankings: Nigeria Maintain Its Position

World soccer governing body (FIFA) on Thursday released the latest rankings for its 211 members, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Sporting activities including Football were on suspension since March 2020 due to outbreak of Coronavirus.

Club football resumed in July while UEFA resumed its European Nations League in September but the results from the matches can't be used for the ranking.

Nigeria's Super Eagles just like any other nations maintained its 31st position on the log.

Teranga Lion of Senegal remained best ranked team in Africa, followed by Carthage Eagles of Tunisia in second position.

Super Eagles of Nigeria in 3rd position while current African champion Desert Warrior of Algeria and Atlas Lion of Morocco occupied 4th and 5th respectively.
